KDCOASTERFAN
Two things: 1) Yes, lightning strikes, but in keeping with the western theme, why would they use something that happens everywhere? 2) If the theme is a western snake, why use a snake found in Ohio? The western theme is just a guess based on other stuff they've done. It sort of mixes with the Rivertown theme, but a little different. I would hope that they'd keep it "local" if they choose an animal name, and the ones that have been mentioned are intimidating enough! Well keep in mind that CF runs amusement parks, not theme parks so just because a ride is built in a specific section of the park doesn't necessarily mean it will follow that area's theme. cinciDAWGS12
I think it will either be Komodo or Mustang...Both are unique names and would fit in with the park. But based on the teaser page on Kings Island's website it definately looks like it's gonna be Komodo to me.
CoastersNSich
Reading all these posts and all this speculation, I keep hearing faint echoes of Banshees... Now that's a name I don't mind Cedar Fair re-using. Granted, they didn't fully use it, if you know what I mean.

CF may run amusement parks but KI is a theme park so a ride built in an area should fit that theme.
