Last Saturday me and my family were able to snag tickets to Kings Island, so we took advantage of it.

We took off from home around 8:40 or so and headed out with towels, trunks, and food.

We ate some breakfast at Cracker Barrel, and in the process I lost 2 games of checkers. My stats? 0 for 2.

Around 11:30 we arrived at the park and immediately headed toward BB to get a locker.

After a long walk around Nick U and the picnic grove, we reached BB and quickly rented us a locker! :D

We headed back to the train and hopped onto Rivertown.

I grabbed a headjerking ride on The Beast first thing, with my brother. It was his first time and really enjoyed bouncing around.

Afterward we headed onto WWC, and I really forgot how SHORT the line truly is, even if it seems long the first time. I hadn't ridden WWC for a while, so I was surprised at how short the ride really was. I thought it was faster and longer, I guess I remembered wrong.

After WWC I remember we headed over to BB because we were all wet anyway. While we were on Beast my parents took a Thornberry ride and my mom was flooded when the log dunked itself into the water. We took the train to WWC, and I enjoyed a row to myself while slowly traveling by Diamondback's construction, which as our train op guy said was "Gonna be ammaaaaaazinnnn!"

When we reached BB me and my sister headed for Coolangatta Racers. I lost because I started atleast 3 seconds after the operator said "Go!" I was 4th place. Beware of my skill.

We walked around and I was pretty POed to see that Snowy River Rampage was closed. So, I headed with my sister off to Tasmanian Typhoon. I very much enjoyed this one, even the line. It was entertaining to watch riders fly out of the tunnel screaming like there was no tomorrow. The water was particularly cold this one, and not much fun as the ride op held us under the waterfall before you could start for atleast 30 seconds. Alas, we were off and I was heading backwards the entire time. I was on the raft with my sister and nobody else, so the surprise drop at the end surprised me and scared my sister. She squealed. I swear I almost fell out of the raft when entering the funnel. My butt was sliding across the groves in the funnel very painfully and when we turned around, I was experiencing 'Funnel Airtime!' It was fun, especially the drenching pool splash.

After TT, we headed over to the car to eat our lunch. Sandwiches, Chips, Cookies, and Cokes. It was ALOT cheaper than eating in the park. We then entered BB again once finished.

When we entered BB, the less fun part began as we stayed at the wave pool for 30 minutes and eventually headed back to the park.

This struck me, lines were alot huger than on Toyota Day because I have noticed there's a TONNA more people there. I need to get that through my thick skull. I didn't get to ride everything I wanted to hit up.

When we headed back to the park, me and my siblings headed to Firehawk and were greeted to a 1:30:00 ride line. The air was hot and the misting fans in the line weren't so helping for me. They thoroughly enjoyed the ride, it was my 2nd official ride on it, and I enjoyed the loud chain lift. Very. Very. Much.

After Firehawk I hit up Red Racer. When in line we were greeted to a very fun and entertaining 30 minute wait. The ride ops were asking riders for candy. In their spiel, "Any candy left on the ride WILL be eaten." Nonetheless, when a circuit ended, the front seat riders threw them a bag of skittles and sparked a conversation on the art of devouring skittles! The ride itself on the front seat was very fun, and full of airtime. My sister didn't enjoy the feeling however.

Afterwards me and my mom hit up Scrambler, a family original tradition. It was painful. For her.

My parents were hungry after scrambler so they went to Wings. Their description wasn't too pleasant, they said the food didn't look to appetizing. It was ok, and they said they won't go back there. They reviewed that the restraunt itself was also very dirty and included very sticky floors.

While they were gone, the 3 hoodlems (I be da leader!) hit up AE. I don't remember stopping midway in the final tunnel and listening to the 'Bowl of Chili' tiki. Anyone care to explain?

We then decided to head out to Nick U, and I didn't get to ride Avatar again, because one of the 2 twins complained of lines and didn't understand it was a general public Saturday. So we hopped onto Scooby, I heard line complaints from them throughout the line. We got on and the ride stopped and continued shortly, and I only scored a 150 because the ride's gun and targets wouldn't cooperate.

It was getting late so we headed on over to Vortex, our final ride. By the time it was time to get on, it was plain as night dark. It was a very fun experience getting a night ride on Vortex, very unusual too considering I couldnt see while looping. My brother acted like he was at a rock concert while riding.

After the ride, we decided to head out. The park was gonna close in atleast 23 minutes by the time we got off. While exiting, I grabbed my map to hang in my room, watched the DB model and had to explain to random people that the ride didn't really go as fast as the model did. God, people. Also, was the DB model ever stationed somewhere else? I remember seeing pictures of it somewhere on Press day. We headed out. As I sat on the hood of the car eating Lays while watching fireworks shoot off, I let the KI spirit take me over. It was a semi-pleasant day.

Anyway, here's some night pictures taken from my phone.
