Could have been a resident on Cedar Point Road, they drive over the causeway to get home.

Or a CP employee heading to the dorms after a night of drinking at Louies Bar (a CP employee hangout).

Or could have been someone who was staying at Hotel Breakers, Camper Village, Lighthouse Point, Sandcastle Suites, or the Marina.

Please don't click the "Cat's killer leaves kittens without mom" story.

I had tears rolling down my face. If you are an animal lover, DO NOT read that.

It's horrible. :(

Ohhhh, I really should have believed ya.

That is sad. I think the brat probably needs to do a couple years community service with the SPCA.

If it's anything like that commerical with all the dogs and cats in homeless shelters I won't click it!

You know thats like telling me to not look down. Well I looked down and yeah you were right.

You know they say most serial killers start by either killing or torturing animals when they are younger.

And most criminals start by bullying kids just becasue they can!

Sorry for telling you not to look down. Yea that is cruel

Same here, Like I said on the website, he needs a therapist. I would be furious if that was my kid.

I can't stand the thought of anyone hurting an animal like that. I've had birds eat out of my hand, and I've gotten a growling dog that tried to bite me to sit in my lap later that day. I will talk to birds or animals, they love that, but boy do they get upset when you leave. I went to my friend's house where she had a cat that she claimed was afraid of people, but the cat jumped up on the couch right next to me. I absolutely love animals, and they seem to sense that.

Nothing anyone can say or do will justify what that kid did. I can't fathom how anyone could do such a terrible thing.

The fact is that many/most that abuse animals and start fires have been abused or are being abused.

Many moons ago, when I worked at Children's Services, that used to be an area we evaluated when we were determining if abuse and neglect had taken place.

Just a side note.

And I understand how they are being neglected/abused but to take it out on helpless animals is wrong.

It's actually a psychological thing.

When someone is being abused or neglected, they will act out to achieve control and power. To take the actions of abusing and killing an animal is seen as a way of ultimate control when they have so little or no control in other areas of their lives. It's the same with setting and starting fires. By lighting a fire and watching it burn, the abused sees the action as mastery over his/her environment.

Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not condoning the action. I'm a strong believer that actions have consequences. But, explaining that there is often more below the surface than is presented.
