Bees and Wasps out in full force

Featured Replies

Today the Bees and Wasps were out of control. The Vortex was totally freaky, there must have been 30 or 40 wasps hovering over The Vortex track and as the train slowly went up the hill the wasps were hovering over all the riders heads and every time the trains slowed up there were the wasps, and bees were everywhere you walked. But it was worth the trip today, since I got to ride the Log Flume twice since they had the body drenching elephant turned off, which obviously made the ride popular as it was the longest line I stood in.

I even noticed that here. I looked out at our hummingbird feeder and there were at least 10 to 20 wasps and bees on the feeder when there's usually 1 to 3. The hummingbirds don't like them either, they won't go near the feeder if there's a bee or wasp on it.

Thats funny because I took a Day trip down to SFKK today and they where all over the top of Changs lift hill.

Yea it's early Fall that seems to be when the bugs thrive.

Jackson, with 8 mosquito bites on his right leg alone...

Its like that every year. But we went to Cedar Point last night and today. No bees or wasps to be found. Temps in the 30s at night tend to kill them off, I suppose.
