madsmom
Typically, when is the best time to buy a season pass? I remember after Christmas last year that if you bought a regular season pass they automatically upgraded you to a Gold pass. I don't see that as an option right now. Is it cheaper to buy the pass early (like now for 2009) and pay for the upgrade? Or if I wait for a free upgrade, will the base price be higher? Thanks! MarketingExpress
I believe if you buy now, you get the perk of free parking for 2009. I am not sure if you automatically get an upgrade if you purchase now, or if they save that promotion for early next year.
XGatorHead 8904
The best time to buy is in the fall for the following year's passes. You can get gold (or platinum) passes now, the gold upgrade is $5 more than a regular pass, plus you get free parking if you upgrade to gold now. After the park closes for the season, the price goes up to the spring rates. During that pricing period, historically they increase the price, and all passes are at least gold, unless you upgraded to platinum. Plus, the free parking is no longer a perk, you would have to buy the parking pass if you so choose. Of course, KI Marketing can make any changes they see fit, but this is historically how it works. Hope this helps!
Jasper
Got mine for Christmas last year automatically got an upgrade to gold and free parking for this year. Talk about having a happy group of people. I went two or three times with other groups besides my family and they all loved me when they said, "10 Bucks to park!?!" Then here i come in, "Here use this." Boom instan popularity throughout the day. Dont even get me started on the free water perk hahaha. Saved a couple of thirsty people there to.
