RailRider Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 At first glance I know this may not have much to do with theme parks, but I think this speaks volumes as to why SIX has struggled under Dan Snyder and Mark Shapiro. They along with a 3rd partner have taken an interest to Tom Cruise and are listed as executive producers on what is expected to be one of the biggest flops of all times, Tom Cruises Valkyrie. Yes the same Valkyrie, that depicts the planned assasination of Hilter during WWII. Who doesn't want to see Tom Cruise as a Nazi during the Christmas seasson? This movie has been hammered by critics, studio insiders and the like and is being blamed for the downfall of United Artists and others. So maybe Dan Snyder isn't the business man we all though, especially if he thought it was a good idea to get behind this movie.
