Coney Islander Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Some of them are rarely manufactured, so post if you wonder what they are. Quote
UnrealNightmare Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 I'm going to say wooden coasters are my favorite not just to ride but they are beautiful to look at as well. That's why I spend most of my time designing wooden coasters on No Limits. **EDIT** You forgot Euro Fighter. Quote
coaster_junky Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 i truely have a three way tie between strata, giga, and wooden. but i voted for wood. Quote
Thrill_Biscuit Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 I've never ridden a 4th Dimension. Is that the "X" that I saw on a cable show about 8 years ago, that flips you over with some kind of actuator that follows a separate rail? Quote

Coney Islander Posted November 4, 2008 Author Posted November 4, 2008 My favorite is Inverted, since there is a good view and you feel almost all the air that hits the car. Quote
Coney Islander Posted November 4, 2008 Author Posted November 4, 2008 Do they have any pipeline coasters in the United States? I think its a Europe thing. Quote
UnrealNightmare Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 It is now called X2 and according to Magic Mountains website it has moved from a 4th dimension coaster to a 5th. Now Open! We’ve taken extreme to the next level with X2. Completely redesigned trains and state-of-the-art visual, audio and sensory effects move X from the 4th dimension to the 5th as it transforms into X2! Coney Islander Posted November 4, 2008 Author Posted November 4, 2008 Did they change x at all? Quote
thatbandguy8807 Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 ^if i remember right, not really, they just added pyrotechs and a soundtrack to it with speakers in every seat Quote
UnrealNightmare Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 It has entirely new trains and there are some pyrotechnics. Originally there was supposed to be a tunnel with some lighting effects but they dropped that idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooTbx_AwyFk Quote
RailRider Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 No Hyper/Mega to choose from? So I pick other. Quote
thatbandguy8807 Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 thats right..i remember now lol..i dont pay too much attention to that stuff too much if it isnt close to me Quote
Beast1979 Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Aww, why choose from your childern? I love (Almost) all of them, or at least give them a fair shot. Though I chose Wooden, because not only do they ride well and give a nostalgiac feel, but they also look absolutely beautiful. Quote
gigacoaster2k Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 I had a very hard time picking between floorless, inverted, and giga.. so I choose other. Another favorite of mine is launched coasters. Quote
FOFreak Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Yes, this is the closest thing for me to picking your favorite child! It comes down to the ride itself. Not all coasters are the same, even within type, Voyage is not the same as Racer; Adventure Express is not the same as Matterhorn; Rugrats Runaway Reptar is not the same as Volcano. That is why I cannot chose! Quote

Phantom Theater Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 I just like Steel Sitting Down coasters. Quote
Coney Islander Posted November 5, 2008 Author Posted November 5, 2008 I regret forgetting to put lim-launch coasters, because Flight of Fear is my favorite Kings Island ride Quote
coaster_junky Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 They are both inverted, are they not? yes, that is true. but look at it this way, little bill's giggle coaster and top thrill dragster are both sit-down roller coasters, but they are still two completle different forms of that "breed" of roller coaster. Jasper Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Giga Coaster by far but a good ole Woody isnt to far behind it. Quote
