Pass Parking Question

On April 11th, I got my Gold Season Pass processed. When I ordered the pass, I did NOT order a parking pass. Once my season pass had been printed out, I noticed that it said "PARKING" on it. I looked at other Gold Season Passes that had been passed around, and some of them didn't have "PARKING" on them. Does this mean that I get free parking, or that I am allowed in the Gold Pass parking area?

The way that I understand it is that if the serial number on your pass begins with a 9 then it is also a parking permit.
