Of course the Kings Island Inn - or Resort, whatever it's called now - is always highly recommended since it is so close to the park. I stayed there many times in my pre-family days and it was very nice but no fridges or anything. With kids I needed more space and couldn't live out of a cooler for a week, so we stayed at the Homewood Inn a couple times, nice but expensive, and for the past couple years have been staying at the Mainstay Suites in Blue Ash, 5 miles away, a suite for four with a kitchenette for $70-$90 a night. Most of the hotels in the area have websites so you can check them out and price them right online.
