in RCT@ how do you build building over rides?

Can you tell me how to put buildings over rides and lines i keeps trying but every time i try to put the roof on it goes to the ground how do you make it stay on the walls?

I know you can because it has it like that already made and this guy built it like that so how do you do it?

I know how to do this.. If I am correct about what you are saying. To build rooves over buildings select a roof piece, put it over the square where you want it and press & hold Shift, the piece should show directly above the ride, then click to place it. Shift can be used to raise pieces over the same square without it moving away from that square. If I haven't confused you enough.. just press & hold the shift key!! biggrin.gif

Yes you are right, however though if you don't want it at that height, but higher, just move your mouse up and it will move higher as long as you are still pressing shift.

Thanks it worked i couldn't figure that out but now that you guys helped me i can ddo it so thanks a whole bunch!
