Hey folks,

I know there are many of you like me who get on this page and pkiguide.com. I've noticed it's been down the last 2 days. I have a funny idea and I wonder if any of you share it.

How about if the administrators of pkiunlimited.com and pkiguide.com pool their resources and talents together to make one awesome PKI fan homepage instead of 2 separate ones?

Just an idea.

I'd say PKI Guide is gone for good. It hasn't been updated forever anyways.

Well if their server is down, their mail server would also be down more than likely. Also if they cancelled their account, the same would happen. I'd say they're closed though. Wouldn't surprise me.

While that might sound like a good idea on paper, in reality it makes running the site a much larger undertaking IMO. I really like doing everything by myself on the site, and rarely, if ever, have anyone else on the PKIU staff help out with coding, graphics, or anything of the sort. It would be a large hastle to me to have two webmasters working on the same site; each webmaster has their own idea of what direction they want the site to go.

I thought it was just my computer. The site IS down though ya say. Well, I guess Ill stay here for a while.

PKIGuide.com was a great site. Although, the activity has been lacking. With the change of every month, i wonder if the webmaster would pay his bill.

Aaron, i know what you mean. However, it does help when people contribute to the site. ie. News, etc. Jacob (over at pkiguide.com) did everything on his own. I offered to help in any way to keep the community strong, however, i think he just got too busy with other parts of life.

Long live PKIUnlimited.com. Much success in the oncoming weeks, months, and years.

This would work if the domain was for sale, and for a reasonable price. The PKIGuide.com domain would just re-direct here, probably.

I dont believe it is for sale, however.

EDIT: Seems the domain expired on the 22nd of June, this year. Dont know why it didnt go down then. Ill keep an eye on it
