I'd have rather seen both coasters get different themes rather than have the exact same one (of course, this is the same company that has all their Halloween events marked with the same name), but as of right now, I like 305's layout with the low-to-the-ground turns and quick bunny hops.

I've never ridden anything like Intimidator before but if I really wanted to I'd just go to Kings Island and ride Diamondback. I've also never ridden anything like Intimidator 305 but I'd have to go all the way to Virginia to do so, so I likely won't.

I agree with railrider that 305 will be a very unique ride experience. The layout may look flat and uninteresting but think of all those turns at about 90 mph

I voted for Intimidator 305. Even though I have some doubts about the ride I still think it will be great. That first, tight, high speed, turn coming of the drop looks like it will pummel you with forces. Even though I think Carowinds Intimadator will be a great B&M Hyper, possibly even better than DB, I still have some faith that I305 will be better than Intimidator.

I have a feeling I305 will be unlike anything else in the US. Looks very good to me with the Mega Lite on Steriods layout with a Giga drop.

I definitely agree with the first part. This looks like it will ride completely different than any other coaster, particularly given the speed involved. I think much of the conversation and buzz is due to just that. It also means that this coaster will probably evoke more variable opinions from both the GP and enthusiasts than the Carowinds version, as B&M hypers typically feel very similar.

I disagree, in part, with the second part. Comparing I305 and a mega-lite (or a B&M hyper) is comparing apples and oranges IMO. Megalites spend much more of their time going over hills, while I305 is spending most of its time closer to the ground in turns.
