KI Music

How come when you are standing in line, they play the same songs over and over. ESPECIALLY "Counting Crows: Big Yellow Taxi" I like the song, but it is kind of annoying to hear it 3 times when waiting for one ride.

They have a set program playing and then when it is done with the cycle it repeats itself... I hear it all the time but it doesn't come on that often, once an hour or so.

While they do play the song alot, it's a great remake of an already great song. Maybe next time you go you can take them a list of songs you like, I hear they're taking requests now. rolleyes.gif

There's a building back by Picnic Grove. It's a really small building, and it's Guest Relations. Take your requests there. rolleyes.gif

I kind of miss the old classical music that was played throughout the park when I was young in the 80s. I especially miss the "Sabre Dance". I'm sure that many of you do not immediately recognize the title, but if you search in Kaza and play it, I think it would bring back some memories.

PKI has to obtain the rights for any music that they play in park.

The music really is not a big interest for me, as well as many guests. It is just filler.... so I assume that PKI concentrates the money they would have to pay for those rights elsewhere in the park.

Shaggy

One song I like to hear in the park is the Beetlejuice theme. I've only heard it in the park once, but I would love to hear it played there more!

What they play rap songs sometimes!! I heard Where is the love by Black eyed peas. And i heard Beyonce Crazy in love with some rap in it by Jay-z. So what are you talking about they hate rap.

that song (sabre dance) does bring back memories of those old magic shows like Stxbomber said. its a weird but cool tune...

I went searching on the net and found a site that had some lyrics to the sabre dance. Somebody made them up, obviously. rolleyes.gif I tried "singing" it with the song and it almost fits...Try it!

It's called a joke; no you can't take music requests to the park. Stop trying to act all big and bad with your attitude.

They play crappy music videos on QTV, but throughout the park is the music being referred to here. Only in Nick Central will you hear crappy crap like Avril Lavigne. AZ consists of mostly 80's music... "Wake me up, before you go girl, cuz i'm not plannin on goin solo..." Stuff like that. International Street has calming, instrumental music, and Coney has some of the same stuff as AZ, and some different stuff. The music on IS and in AZ never changes. NEVER.

I know they always play Wake Me Up Before You go, and Get Out Of My Dreams. Stuff along those lines. In Adventure Express line they play Nas "I Can." In line for Drop Zone they play Sheryl Crow "Up" and Counting Crows "Big Yellow Taxi" OVER AND OVER!
