SOB bump

Featured Replies

When I rode SOB, I was in the back seat it seemed that at the top of the second hill the bump was gone. I noticed the cars in front of me seemed to double dip at the top. Did PKI do this to fix the bump? blink.gif

They most likely changed somthing. SOB is a ride that has had ALOT of work done to it.

If youre talking about when you go down the first hill and back up the second, no they did not change it. You can look at the track, and see it is different from the rest.

I saw a crane by the loop the other day. They might have been changing track at the bottom of the hill. When SOB was first open why was it always closed? I heard it was becuase the wood was rotting at teh bottom of the hill and they had to replace alot of wood. Is this true?

I remember when it was being built, there was severe weather (possibly a tornado, I cant remember) part of the ride had callapsed, and had to be rebuilt.

Yes the second hill did collapse in a storm while being built. Are you sure that crane wasn't the platform that's been there forever so they can inspect the loop in the morning?

Just like Tanner said, that crane has always been in the area of SOB so the maintanence workers can inspect the loop every morning.
