SANTA CLAUS, Ind. -- A southern Indiana amusement park plans to auction off hundreds of surplus items this weekend, including an antique circus truck and bumper boats.

Saturday's auction will be at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari in Santa Claus, about 35 miles east of Evansville.

Hundreds of items will be auctioned, including electric scooters, professional kitchen equipment, costumes, Christmas decorations, theatrical lighting, old license plates and an antique oxen yoke.

Holiday World President Will Koch says the theme park's clutter could easily be someone else's treasure.

Would love to go to that, but don't have time. Sounds like a good time to be had, with many treasures to be given.

I know its a longshot, but what they should do it auction of cars from one of Voyage's old trains, I could put it in my living room, add a couple of pillows, and I can enjoy the coaster 24/7
