McSalsa
I think the title sums this up perfectly. Pictures of the pre-Paramount Kings Island, and of the most successful debut of a KI coaster before Diamondback, Vortex. Includes pictures of some rides that are no longer at Kings Island, including Skylab, King Cobra, and The Screamin' Demon. Enjoy. My Comment after watching video: Wow. KI 1987 looks amazing. No roller coasters with horrible paintjobs(they look like they were actually kept up very well back then), Beast w/o the "new" trims, numerous flatrides that look fun and are no longer there, all themed areas still matching their themes, Red Racer running backwards, Vortex being smooth... Jasper
Another very nice video from Coasterbob. As a subscriber I had already seen this video and love watching all of the rest of his videos. Most of them show Kings Island from a very rare perspective and from a date and time of which I cannot say I was around.
Tomkatt7
Had some cool photos for 1987. Except for the POV on King Cobra. You can see the Tomb Raider building! LOL
KIfan73
And some people think that the park maps are plain now!
frisbeefan
Have to love the squiggly lines on the map representing the rides!
Diamondback96
Had some cool photos for 1987. Except for the POV on King Cobra. You can see the Tomb Raider building! LOL That's the Paramount Kings Island Theater.
coaster_junky
Have to love the squiggly lines on the map representing the rides! and yet the "squiggly lines" are more accurate than the present park maps.
