Pillsberry123
Instead of going through the details, I'll just mention a few things then I'll post pictures! - If anyone hasn't explored the Lake Eerie islands it's worth it! - Raptor isn't that great in the back seat, but sitting in the front seat is an example of why I love B&M Coasters. - We rode Millennium Force in the front seat for the first time. We've ridden it countless times before, but sitting in the front seat for the first time is almost religious experience for coaster fans. The back seat gives GREAT airtime down the first hill and over the other three hills, but the rest of the ride is dull in that seat. - Shoot the Rapids looks great! They didn't take out as many trees as I thought they would. - I didn't think Maverick was great last year or the year before, but I loved it this year! Sitting in the back of the train is a LOT of fun. Great ejector air down the first hill and the other airtime hills. - Up until this trip I never understood the fascination with Magnum. After rides in 1:2, 4:2, and 6:1 I understand completely. Smoother than I remember and AWESOME ejector air on the bunny hill run. I think I might like it even more than Diamondback. - Wildcat and Corkscrew were both running smoother than I remember. - In my opinion, Blue Streak is a better ride than The Racer. With that being said, both rides could benefit from a fresh coat of paint. I hope Cedar Fair takes note of this soon. - MaXair seems to last longer than Delirium. Can anyone back me up on this? - This was the first time we bothered to visit the park again in the evening, and I loved the park at sunset. The neon lights on the main midway screams 1950s like nothing else. For my ride stats see my signature. From Shoreline Drive #1 Steel Coaster? I think so. Maybe this will change when I ride Intimidator 305... Maverick from the Jet Express boat Same Millennium Force from the Jet Express boat Double Intamin shot Magnum XL200 from Jet Express Boat We hit a storm on the way back to Sandusky (Cedar Point LOOKED EVEN MORE AWESOME IN PERSON THAN IT DOES HERE!) Again... The weather channel said that it was going to rain Monday morning... it didn't! We arrived to an empty parking lot! Empty.... I think we got a good parking spot For the sake of time I'll post the rest in a couple hours. I don't trust my computer to not screw up... Pillsberry123
Waiting for the park to open Monday morning. The next few shots are just Millennium Force from the line... no captions are required
thekidd33
Awesome pics, thanks for posting! Totally agree about Racer/Blue Streak. I thought Blue Streak was a much better ride.

Pillsberry123
Wicked Twister in the evening from the Giant Wheel. My favorite picture from the trip. The sky and lake look great! Favorite flat ride? I think so... Magnum at sunset The skyline at sunset Another great Wicked Twister shot! If the rail wasn't at the bottom of the picture this would be a great shot! No caption needed Another great sunset shot From the parking lot Monday night The next few shots are of Raptor the next morning... My attempt to get the expressions of some of the riders Millennium They were switching trains on the Mantis so we decided not to ride. We rode Wildcat for the first time in a few years. Fun ride! Better than I remember. Don't know what to say here, Magnum blew me away this year! Going up! Two great rides in one shot (make that three)! I love the blur of the train! Thanks for reading! That's all the pictures...
PhantomTheater
- Raptor isn't that great in the back seat Blasphemy! The front is something to behold, however I recommend doing the front in the day, as for at night you become the human windshield. - In my opinion, Blue Streak is a better ride than The Racer. With that being said, both rides could benefit from a fresh coat of paint. I hope Cedar Fair takes note of this soon. CF has lost all of there blue paint, only available colors are red and yellow. They could make Blue Streak it's original natural brown color. - This was the first time we bothered to visit the park again in the evening, and I loved the park at sunset. The neon lights on the main midway screams 1950s like nothing else. You should have seen it before Maxair was put in, the whole games building was covered in neon lights. Oh how I miss them. Edit: Advance to 2:20. Double Intamin shot Triple actually, there is a bit of Millie there. Nice trip report, if you spend sometime in Sandusky again I suggest visiting the Merry-go-Round Museum in downtown.
