I was wondering if the PKI managment will use the H-B character at all this season. Scooby is given, I know that but what about Yogi, Cindy, Boo, and Fred. I saw George Jetson in the picinic grounds for a special event but that it.

P.S. Can someone rent one of the H-B costume for a day?

No you can't rent one.

They will not be using any other HB characters to my knowlage other than scooby. When The Jetsons movie comes out we may see old George again.

I love PKI more than any other park this side of the Mississippi. However, I am greatly disappointed that the Hanna-Barbera characters (with the exception of Scooby Doo) have been removed. I do hope that the Jetsons movie will be successful and inspire PKI to bring back the H-B characters.

Hanna-Barbera characters have a special place in my heart as I grew up with them and want my son (who is due in April) to love them too. Hence, I recently purchased 6 H-B videos....but I want to see the characters. Think about it, when I take my son to Nickelodeon Central, he'll see Nickelodeon characters. However, when I take him to Hanna-Barbera Land (which is MUCH bigger), he'll say "Daddy, where are all the characters?"

Italian Chef

The Jetsons movie is in developing at Warner but there is no director or cast at the moment. It going to take a while unless they get a director and a cast.

Hollywood is full of starving actors and wanna-be-directors. I'm sure they won't have too much trouble finding willing employees. If not, I'll fax them my resume and they can hire me as director. *LOL*

Seriously speaking folks, I did write, produce, direct, and star in a cooking show from 2002-2003 named HOME COOKING WITH CHARLES. That's why I call myself Italian Chef. Additionally, last year I wrote, directed, was prop master, and appeared in a TV special called Taste of Thailand.

Hence, I really could direct a movie if I were a hero instead of a zero.

That is cool. I too wish all of the old HB characters would be brought back...they were great.... The Nick-toons are great...but you can never have too many characters...

I agree Italian Chef. The Hannah-Barberra characters need to make a come back. Wasn't there also a Captain Caveman character at PKI? He was one of my favs. That and Scooby Doo.

PKI Homey: Yes, there was a Captain Caveman character at PKI. I, too, remember the characters as I grew up with the HB era. I also agree that PKI should bring some of them back.

It would be cool bruoght the H-B charters back.
