derbeast
Great observation since Gun has only been repainted once and the track went from red to silver ::applause::
HelixSpiral
Top Gun's track changed from red to silver between 1998 and 1999. It was also repainted in 2001 when Gillette began sponsoring it, however the color remained the same. BoObKiNoS
Yea you guys are all crazy...the thing definitley does not need a paint job.
fryler87
Yeah, Top Gun is in better color shape that Face Off. I wouldn't worry about the paint on our Arrow Suspended for at least a few more years, maybe several. I think that if Face Off and Drop Zone got repainted, they would look REALLY sharp. I remember when the park painted Vortex - it was VERY easy to tell which parts were the old, unpainted track and which were the new painted ones. Vortex looked excellent after it was painted - the color was very rich and bold...and it is still that way today (well, at least last season it was). I think the park would benefit from paint both Drop Zone and Face Off, but the paint isn't exactly rusting off in large chunks every day. stephenmayes
I definitly think Delirium and the Building for Tomb Raider could both use a god paint job. Steve Edited January 1, 1970 by stephenmayes

Or just parts of the building or what? Delirium is brand new and it does not need painted. I like the colors on it now. What do colors would look good on it? darkride_chick
Last season during ride employee training day, they were finishing up the paint job on the outside of Scooby's Haunted Castle. They were using what looked similar to those plant food sprayers that gardeners use in combination with a hose. There must be dry color pigment inside of the containers, and the hose that connected it to a big truck thing must have had a sort of bonding agent to make it stick to the structure and make it weather-proof. I imagine that when they paint the rollercoasters, they must do it in a similar fashion.
fryler87
Does anyone know what kind of paint they use to paint the coasters? Pools are painted with a good, strong epoxy. It would make sense to me if rides were painted with the same stuff.
