frisbeefan
I saw this article linked on Screamscape and thought it was interesting. According to the article: "Although bumping is part of the experience of a bumper car ride," the court continued, "head-on bumping is not. In fact, it is a prohibited activity." While I understand and agree park rules need to be followed and enforced, ride associates can only do so much. People disobey rules all the time and it's difficult to prevent people from having head on collissions. Of all the times I've been on Dodgems I've always seen or been apart of someone driving into someone head-on. Any thoughts? In a ruling Friday, a divided San Jose-based state appeals court found that a local doctor could sue the owners of Great America for a broken wrist suffered while riding a bumper car with her son in 2005.
