For those who may be going to SFMM or Los Angeles in general this weekend, I-405 (AKA San Diego Freeway) will be closed between I-10 (Santa Monica Freeway) and US-101 (Ventura Freeway). If you can, avoid LA at all cost this weekend. If you have to go to LA, be prepared for extreme back up. CALTRAN is expecting somewhere between 28 to 64 miles! (How this can be guessed is anyone's guess!).

BTW, I-405 - I-10 interchange and US101 - I-405 interchange are two of the 5 most congested in the US.
