We all talk about how we want Kings Island to get a giga coaster or a B&M invert, but what about the poor little park right next to Kings Island? Yup, that's Boomerang Bay, a place that hasn't gotten a new ride or expansion since 2004 (when they added three new attractions: Tazmanian Typhoon, Jackaroo Landing, and Kookaburra Bay).

What I am really looking for is a new water coaster, since we don't have one already. Or, maybe just a new wave pool would do nice.

There are no real rumors about a BB expansion, but for unknown reasons, many of us Kings Island enthusiasts have a gut feeling the 2012 announcement will be for it.

So, what would you like to see? A new wave pool, new slide, or maybe even a new kids' activity area?

I feel if Kings Island gets an expansion in Boomerang Bay, if it is anything other than a wave pool, it will be a water coaster. They are definitely the new era of water ride.

BB needs a water coaster next. Secondarily, I'd love to see something like Wet N Wild's Bomb Bay (although that might be a capacity nightmare).

I do not see them putting much into BB because of surrounding water parks The Beach and GWL. It would be nice to see new water attractions though! Michigan Adventure opened a new kiddie water area so maybe KI will be next... who knows.

I can't disagree more. The whole reason (If) of changing Boomerang Bay would be because of the Beach and GWL, if Kings Island out beats them with water thrills then KI will win over all. You can go to the beach for wonderful water thrills but wait, if KI has a 14 foot deep wave pool, with a ton of slides and who knows what why not go there and get a whole amusement park too. `2 great parks in one!!
