ohiocolts Posted April 29, 2012 Share Posted April 29, 2012 Exactly 40 years ago today, Kings Island opened up. So yeah, it opened up April 29th, 1972. Here we are, exactly 40 years later. It would be nice to celebrate the birthday at the park, but the private event is on again. Was anyone here on KIC by chance at KI for there official opening day in 1972?
