Dollywood Billboard

Featured Replies

On the way home from Kings Island tonight, we were talking about Wild Eagle at Dollywood. Just as the conversation started, I looked up and saw a Wild Eagle billboard in downtown Cincinnati. Kind of a drive from here, don't ya' think?

Nope. We have done it as a one day trip on several occasions during the last 3 seasons. SF Great America, Holiday World (except Holiwood Nights) and Cedar Point are all one day trips for us. Others parks that I haven't been to yet, but I would consider a one day trip are Indiana Beach, Beech Bend and Camden Park. Kennywood and SF St. Louis could be also, but we have usually just added them to part of a 2-4 park weekend.

Then again in Dec. 2010 we drove to Florida, went to Busch Gardens and Sea World and were back 52 hours after leaving Cincy.

Back in Pre-Paramount times we used to get Kings Island TV commercials all the time. That's what got me to talk my dad into taking me which began my love for Kings Island ever since. So glad to see Dollywood making the investment up there, I've done Kings Island in a single day trip, more often two days though. For reference I live about 25 mins from Dollywood hence why I addressed the topic backwards.

They ran Kings Island commercials in Detroit when I lived up there (not sure if they still do, though).
