Great Old Amusement Parks on TV tonight

Featured Replies

There is a show on PBS Think TV Channel 16.2 called Great Old Amusement Parks. It's on right now, but according to the Think TV website, it will be aired multiple times in the next few days.

Below is a link for more info on the show.

**Mods, if there's already been a topic posted on this, please delete this thread. I searched, but didn't find anything.

When I watched it, the sound cut out half way through and never came back on, So I didn't get to hear the segment about Holiday World.

I had the same problem when I watched it (sound cut in/out). I switched over to the SD feed and it was fine. Given that the show was from 1999, I doubt it was produced in HD anyway.

Just finished watching this show tonight - what an interesting documentary that highlighted some neat parks and shared lots of fun information - fascinating!

And for those of you coasting for kids - you have nothing on the contestants from a radio station contest, 5 of whom rode the Belmont Park Giant Dipper constantly for 70 days (they also slept in the coaster!) trying to win $50,000

For those wondering, it's on PBS as follows in the Cincy area: Channel 48: Sat at 4am, Sun at 11pm, Mon at 5am
