I am excited to say that me and 2 of my friends, one who is a member here also, will be heading up to Cedar Point tomorrow morning, early for a day trip.

Should be fun, we got Fast Lane plus passes, so we will report soon about everything.

I'm gonna give the short synopsis of the trip. Got to the park before open and got our fast pass plus bands.

Got in and rode Gatekeeper, it was an awesome experience and luckily the start to a great day.

All in all experience wise I will say that things were great. The staff is so friendly there and the Fast Lane is such a good value when you really take into account how long lines were getting for a Monday.

I really just want to rank my favorite rides through the day and I will elaborate if anyone wants to know specifics. Kind of busy to write a full report, although I'd like to.

Favorite Rides (in order, just doing my top 10)

1. Maverick - honestly this was better than Gatekeeper to me, it was so unique and so different from a lot of rides I've ridden like it.

2. Gatekeeper - Such a great experience riding this, its such a cool feeling and a great ride all around.

3. Millenium Force - We did our final ride on this after riding twice during the day, only waiting 10 minutes each time. Such a great ride, even when you get pelted with bugs.

4. Mean Streak - Its just been one of my favorites since I was little.

5. Gemini - another nostalgic favorite

6. Magnum XL-200 - I would rank it higher, but it was killing my gut. way rougher than I remember.

7. Raptor - Another nostalgic one for me, never gets old.

8. Blue Streak - Rougher than i expected, which was a good thing. i remember it being smoother years ago when I rode it.

9. Sky Ride - Can't go wrong with the sky ride, c'mon.

10. Luminosity - I know its not a ride, but Luminosity was absolutely amazing. I had so much fun watching and listening. After doing our night ride they still had the DJ going for another 30 minutes. What a great atmosphere to end the day.

Some people may ask why Dragster isn't in there, and that is because, like every time I've gone since its been there, there were tons of mechanical issues. We were actually on it and stuck for 10 minutes before they pulled us back to the station and gave us the option to leave or stay. That ride is great, but plagued in a way too.

Anyway, if anyone wants more specifics let me know. It was a great trip all around and I'd love to try and do it one more time this year.
