Hello all! I know there are similar topics concerning August trip tips, but I wanted to ask a more specific question. I go to Kings Island quite a bit, but for some strange reason I've never been able to make a trip in Mid August. Most of my trips are during May, June, July or October. August is usually a hectic month for me, but I managed to squeeze a trip in this year. Anyway, I was wondering how crowded the park would be on this day. My assumption is that it won't be too bad because the park only stays open until 8:00 P.M. I would assume this means the park isn't expecting a large crowd. I, however, don't have first hand experience with this part of the season so please enlighten me. Your advice is much appreciated!

It shouldn't be bad at all. Most children start going back to school that week so crowds may be down. I usually go August 20 or 23rd and everything is virtually all walk on. Flight of Fear may be a 10 min wait at the most. You should be okay.

Yes, the weekdays with 8:00 pm closings will generally be dead. One of the best times to visit the park if you want to do a lot of rides.
