August 14th Crowds

Featured Replies

Hello all! I know there are similar topics concerning August trip tips, but I wanted to ask a more specific question. I go to Kings Island quite a bit, but for some strange reason I've never been able to make a trip in Mid August. Most of my trips are during May, June, July or October. August is usually a hectic month for me, but I managed to squeeze a trip in this year. Anyway, I was wondering how crowded the park would be on this day. My assumption is that it won't be too bad because the park only stays open until 8:00 P.M. I would assume this means the park isn't expecting a large crowd. I, however, don't have first hand experience with this part of the season so please enlighten me. Your advice is much appreciated! :D

It shouldn't be bad at all. Most children start going back to school that week so crowds may be down. I usually go August 20 or 23rd and everything is virtually all walk on. Flight of Fear may be a 10 min wait at the most. You should be okay.

Yes, the weekdays with 8:00 pm closings will generally be dead. One of the best times to visit the park if you want to do a lot of rides.
