Signature issues

Featured Replies

I'm trying to add an image to my signature (namely this one), and I keep getting the error "Unable to retrieve signature image dimensions, please try another image." What's going on here? Others have added banners from this site to their signature, so why isn't it letting me? I can't "try another image", because that image is the specific one I need; I don't know of any other automatic coaster list/count signature banners out there since Coaster Fanatics died, and uploading it to another hosting site doesn't work because it won't automatically update when new coasters are added.

The other day I changed my signature to include that exact same image (the Coaster Count banner) except for my personal tally. At first I got the same error you said, so I kept trying. I found out that you can't just copy the link of that page of the link you posted, and you have to upload the picture to a host site like Photobucket, Flickr, etc.I just copied the URL of the picture (that I had uploaded to Photobucket) and then pasted it in the special image URL option. It thenshowed up fine.

I decided I did not want that image in my signature so I removed it, but I just went back and tried again and sure enough...it works.

But like I said, at first I was getting that same error message. But eventually it worked once I uploaded it to a host site.

And I just plan on uploading a new banner image to Photobucket whenever it is updated.

Well, then that is a bug, because you should be able to embed it directly.
