The Beach

Featured Replies

I am going to the Beach with a summer gym class on Thursday the 12th and will be there from 9-2 what should I ride first so I get the most of my time. What are the best slides this year? Also, is it usually busy during the weekdays?

First, The Beach is a trademark and should be capitalized as such. :)

Second, The Beach does not open until 10am that day. Also know that the back half of the park does not open until noon.

The Cliff is their signature slide, though I think Banzai Blast is better. Don't miss Cowabunga Curl; each of its three slides is a unique and fun experience.

Don't worry about what order to ride in; four hours should be plenty of time to ride everything. Have fun!

I've never waited more than 5 to 10 minutes for any slide, though I have never ridden Big Kahuna, so I don't know what kind of lines it gets.

Is the new slide complex complete?

From what I understand, the mat slides are not opening this year. I'm hopeful that they can install them for 2015.

Is there any reason they don't open up the back of the park till noon? I'm guessing staffing. Also is there any park maps anywhere. I have never been to the Beach before so I don't know where a single thing is.

I've never understood why the back half opens late. As for park maps, not the kind you can take with you, which is typical of most standalone waterparks. However, there is one on the website, and you can always ask a passing employee. The staff are very friendly and will be happy to assist you.

Yes, they have lockers. I'm not totally sure on the price, but I believe they are $5 for all-day rental plus a $5 deposit on the key that is refundable upon return of the key at the end of your day.
