After work the night before, one of my sups suggests that all of the opens the next day all go around the park and ride rides, and since I live there, I went. We finished work, changed our clothes, and off we went!

Here's basically the overall thing of the day: It rained all the time we were working, then as soon as our shift was up, NO RAIN! The rain drove everyone out of the park and almost every ride was a walk-on.

This included:

Delirium (1 ride wait)

Drop Zone (1 ride wait)

Face/Off (3 ride wait)

Racer (no wait)

FoF (1 ride wait)

Vortex (no wait)

Beast (no wait)

I'm only gonna cover the major things in this review, cause we got to do so much in only 4 hours.

Beast was extremely rough, but this was explainable because the track was still wet from the rain.

We played dumb guest at many rides. This included Face/Off ("How many trains are you running today?"), and of course our home rides, FoF ("How do you put this seat belt on?") and Zephyr ("Can you hold my shoes?" " Come on guys! Let's all hold hands!"). Don't worry, we quit when the time came.

Also, I got to ride Xtreme Skyflyer for the first time, EVER. Here's my ride review:

I walk into the ride area, surprised that I am actually riding it (I'm not telling why), and scared at the same time. Trust me, this was one ride I was not expecting to ride that day. We get suited up, and then the time came to chose who was going to pull the cord. Both me and the person I was gonna go with (we had 4 people, 2 groups of 2) didn't want to pull it, because we were both so intimidated. Eventually, I said I would do it, because there was little to no chance the other person would pull out the guts to pull it (trust me, she was saying she was gonna kill the person that brought this ride up she was so scared).

We walk into the ride area onto the platform, it rises, and then we get hooked up. Let me tell you, the scariest part of the whole ride is when you are hooked in, and they begin to lower the platform. Even though they tell you not to grab onto the walls, as soon as the platform lowers and you go face first towards the platform, your hands instantly reach out and try to grab the walls for support.

At this point, we are hanging with our faces towards the ground thinking, "How the hell did I get into this?" The platform goes down the rest of the way, and everyone gets out of the flight path. We begin our trip up the tower and up, and up, and up.

When we finally reached the top, I instantly start looking for the rip cord to make sure I will be ready to take the plunge. As soon as I hear "3" I am facing the ground, hand on the cord, preparing for the scariest plunge of my life. "2, 1, FLY!" I pull the cord, and we instantly go even more forward so it seems like our feet are above our heads, and our trip begins. Instantly I yell, "OH MY GOD!!!" Let me tell you, going down 152 feet with no track below you, and no track above you is an amazing, and frightening feeling.

We reach the bottom of the swing barely missing the ground, and reaching a very high speed. The wind is blowing my hair back.

After the first drop the whole feeling of being frightened leaves me, and I enjoy being swung back and forth over Action Zone. After a couple more swings, by partner also gives in to the rush and puts her arms out as if she was flying.

As we begin to stop the swinging, the ride operators put up the ring and we slowly come to a stop.

If you have never ridden Xtreme Skyflyer before, RIDE IT! It is an amazing ride, and very frightening for the first ride, but only at the start. Everyone should ride this at least one time this year!

Well, that was pretty much it. The only other notable things we did was go back and seek revenge on Adventure Express crew because they were making fun of us, and stapling each other (pushing down each others lap bar down more than usual). We quickly found out that our sup has the strange ability to always get out of being stapled.

So to make this long post shorter, Xtreme Skyflyer IS AMAZING!!!
