pki2005
On a sunday the park was almost empty. First we rode drop zone about a 40 minute wait, the we took on the Son of Beast the wait there was none, Deluruims line was about 20 minutes long althogh the later in the day the ride was broken down and the maintaince crew was unloading people of manullay. face off was closed for the first part of the day but was opened later and the wait about 15 min. The Racer no wait, Flight of Fear about 15-20 Vortex walk on The Beast walk on and last but not least tr:tr the line was just outside the cave. Overall it was the best sunday at Kings Island in a long time altoght it rained for part of the day and it was very hot outside. Anyone know why deluimuim was closed? italianchef
You are lucky you experienced short lines. I suffered from VERY LONG lines on Friday, got drenched in the rain, and even sustained a minor injury on Friday, July 4th. Don't panick. The injury was caused by my wife slipping on White Water Canyon and ramming my ribs into the side of the boat. Until this afternoon, I felt pain. Had I been holding on to the hand bar, instead of waving my hands in the air....it would NOT have happened. Hey almost no matter what....I love PKI. Sincerely, Italian Chef
Tanner
Anyone know why deluimuim was closed? According to your description, the restraints were stuck?
pki2005
Yes i know the restransts were stuck but also the floor that raises and lowers would raise back up
Tanner
Why would you ask if you knew what it was? What you just said about the floor doesn't make sense. The floor is supposed to raise back up. At least I hope it is, or the rides been broke ever since it has been opened...
bignathan4403
Did the floor raise during the ride? I know my feet touch the floor on that ride so if it rose during operation there is a possibility someone's feet would get broken, possibly even torn off. Oh well that makes everything a whole lot clearer. Ever since the ride opened they have been having problems with the floor. Not as much now, but it still happens. On Media Day when we (Team Delirium!) rode it on the very first official ride the floor didn't come back up. So we sat there and had to wait for the Huss Mechanic to come out and raise it up. But it's nothing, just a quirk with a new ride.
