mydreamrewrite
Me and my friend Matt showed up at KI around 11:30, bought our season passes, then went to the theater to process them. (I thought it was pretty cool going up on the stage and stuff.) We then headed to Delirium, for about a 10 minute wait, if that... Then we headed over to Son of Beast (5 minutes!) and had a VERY bumpy ride. We were in the very back seat so maybe that was what caused it. After SOB we went to Top Gun, but then passed on Drop Zone because the line looked a little long. I'm a little bit lost as to what we did next, but I know we got a ride on The Beast and The Vortex. We decided to get lunch at la rosa's on international street. Good stuff. :-) By then I think it was around 2:30 so we headed over to Maze of Madness. We got in around 3:15. I didn't think it was that good. It was pretty generic, really... Right after that we hopped in line for Curse of the Crypt. Another 15 minute wait maybe and we were in. I really enjoyed this one. The tunnel thing was great! Then we walked over to the house of darkness and did that one. Maybe a 20 minute wait or so. It was pretty great, also. We did all three of those houses in about 45 minutes, if you don't include the half hour before they opened. Then I think we went and did The Beast and Vortex again, I'm not sure... It started raining later while we were on The Beast, it was POURING. It sucked, but it was still fun. One thing i noticed on a night ride on The Beast, in one of the tunnels, if you look to the right you can see the moonlight shining on the trees! It looks really freaky through the canvas. At least, it LOOKED like trees, maybe I was just imagining it. I dunno... We took a ride on Face/Off, WAY too long of a line. But we did it anyway. We were pretty much soaked so we went and got some food. Once 8:00 came around, we hopped onto the line for psycho path. About an hour wait, but it was pretty cool. The only thing bad was the fact that we were in the back of our little group so we didn't get many scares. And some people in our group were being jackasses. Oh well. We ran over to circus of horrors. Met some spastic girls. Circus of horrors was pretty cool. Really neat effects. The spastic girls followed us and rode The Racer with us twice in a row. I had forgotten how cool that coaster was. :-) Ummm, we wanted to do Route 666 but the line was like 3 hours so we said to hell with that. There's no way I would wait that long for a haunted attraction, hehe. It started pouring down again, it was about 15 minutes till close, so we ran over to Drop Zone for about a 15 minute wait. After the ride we ran through the gate again and did it over again. That was about it. I did forget to mention we rode Adventure Express and The Beast again. Pretty good day. I'll be going again this Saturday with my girlfriend!
coasterrz
Yes, you can see through the second tunnel of The Beast. Originally this tunnel was two underground concrete tunnels. For the second season, they combined the two tunnels with wood. As a result of the cracks between the boards, when you look to the right, you can see the trees and outside.
