DeliriumDreamer
As I had been looking forward to, and telling you guys about weeks before the trip, here it is. My school friend Chelsey invited me to go with her and her little sister and friends to Coney for 5/3 bank day. As predicted, the park was a tad more crowded than usual, not just for 5/3 bank day, but because of the child wellness fair that was going on at the same time. Lucky us, our pool tickets, ride tickets, and free drink tickets were all in one water-proof wristband. We first rode (most likely the best ride in the park) the super round up, and waited maybe around 5 minutes for it. It was well worth the wait, though. I love positive G's! We basically hit every ride in the park, with an exception of the ones we couldn't fit on. ie: trabant, spin-a-ree, ferris wheel, carousel, scrambler, bumper boats, dodgems, Python, tempist, flying bobs. Even though we expected only pain from it, we still rode the Pepsi python. We sat in the second seat in the front car, so it wasn't all that painful, but it wasn't that thrilling either. (I just thought this was interesting, the two people's names working the python when we went were Jeremy and Sarah.) lol. We got to the pool at around 2, where I got really burned, but the slides were working well, and were pretty cool. The pool was still awesome, although some of the guests there didn't know how to behave themselves(and I'm not talking about the kids). So I raced my friend in lanes in the deep end a few times, and got a bite to eat. Overall, it was a fun and exciting day for myself and my friend and even if we got majorly sunburned and had to wait in long lines, we still enjoyed myself. Now I know how much I appreciate pki; as it has more theming, better behaved employees, a cleaner park, and a larger park altogether. ckimbro's little bodyguard
Man, I remember last year when the Super Round Up and Flying Bobs were down . Luckily, when I went three weeks ago, they had 'em up and running!
