B-E-A-Utiful day at the park. Effeciency was as high as I've ever seen it before. Kudos to all the ride ops! At SDATHM, a ride op asked us how our day had been going, and I told him, "Couldn't be better; you people do a great job." He was pleased...but then again, so was I. COMMEND YOUR RIDE OPS, GOD BLESSIT!!! Did scooters, and I snapped twice...I was so stoked. It was awesome. My girlfriend freaked out and grabbed the handle after that and I lacked the mental and physical strength to take back control.

Son of Beast seemed a little smoother in the bowl. I did my pull-as-hard-as-you-can-on-the-front-bar-during-the-ride manuever, and got a VERY pleasant ride out of the behemoth. recaR was GREAT...smoother than I've ever experienced (except for Shannon (my lady)...she was having...er...chest issues with the ride).

Saw maybe 15 construction workers constructing what appeared to be a 20 foot tall, maybe 50 foot long housing apparatus between Racer and the gaming buildings next to the swings. I was VERY curious as to what this was. It appears to be large enough that the only way to remove this small structure from its place was to use a crane - it would be VERY difficult to move it through the wooden gate/fence near the walk-under for Flight of Fear. Can anyone shed some light on this?

So did they change the parade route? In the park maps, it still has the parade route going from The Beastie to The Beast. I was also at the park today and noticed that structure. Also, if you walked through the entrance of Coney Mall, you will notice that they have removed the Coney Mall sign which went above the entrance. I`m assuming this is for clearance for the floats. I noticed this when I was up in the Eiffel Tower and spotted the sign out by the maintenance buildings at the front of the park. You rode the Eagles today? When I got up there around 7:30 they were closed.

It seems Eagles/ Scooters might be down for a little while sad.gif In the mid-afternoon, a ride op (who sometimes posts here) noticed a severe listing of the ride. Tubs 10-5 were abut 12" off the ground while tubs 6-9 were MUCH higher off the ground. My baby is broken. I've been told it could take as long as a few days to [who knows] how long to correct the problem.

At least I was able to get rides #500 and #501 (this season) two days before....thanks Brad!
