I took my girlfriend to the park yesterday. I hadnt been to PKI since 2000. I used to go alot in the late 80's early 90's. She had been once before but didnt ride anything. The trip to get there is always a killer. We live about two and a half hours from the park.

The first thing we did was go up into the Eiffel Tower. Ive always enjoyed doing that. It gives you a great view of everything. Then we went to the Festhaus to eat lunch. The food was pretty good.

Then we started riding rides. We started with small rides because my Girlfriend is scared of the big stuff. So we hit the Scrambler, The Monster, and The Shake, Rattle, and Roll. Then we rode Viking Fury. I like the small rides too, so I wasnt upset or anything.

Then we graduated to The Racer backwards. She took it better than I did. I hadnt rode a rollercoaster in a few years. But we both enjoyed it. I have always loved The Racer. Especially the backwards car.

Then we rode Congo Falls and that is always fun. After that we went and did White Water Canyon. The line was long but it was fun. Then we went and ate again at the Mandarin Chinese place. It was decent, except for the eggrolls. The eggrolls tasted old. Then we went to Paradise Island and got a couple Strawberry Banana smoothies and went shopping in the stores. I bought us both Beast T-shirts and Coffee cups. Then we went and bought the pictures they take of you when your entering King's Island.

After that we went to Top Gun. We had to enter through the exit, because a woman had twisted her ankle or something. My girlfriend was scared she was injured while riding the ride. I told her that was impossible because they would shut the ride down if that was the case. So then we rode Top Gun. She loved the ride. So did I, some little girl said before we went down the first hill "Get ready people here it comes" So I was laughing when the ride started going. Very fun coaster. Its over before you know it, but its fun while it lasts.

Then we went and rode The Beast. Its always been my favorite coaster. And it didnt disappoint. Going up the first hill my girlfriend was sweating this ride. Then we rip down the hill and are going through tunnels. Man I love that ride. Anway we start going up the last hill and she asked me "Is it over?, Is there another hill?" She said it in a shaky voice. I said "Just one more baby." I really like how they play the video before you get on the ride. Very nice touch. My girlfriend said that it's scarier than the other rides. Because the track is hidden and you dont know what to expect. I agree, great ride. After that we went home. It was about 9 pm. 8 pm Indiana time. We had been there all day. And my face has the sunburn to prove it.

Me and my friend are going to try to make it down in a week or so. Then I will be able to ride the rides I missed. Like The Vortex, Face Off, and SOB. But I was still glad I made the trip. And my girlfriend did real good for someone who isnt crazy about rides. PKI is a great place. The lines werent too long and the food was good for an amusement park. Besides the fact I got lost on the way home for a couple hours it was a great trip.

Yeah I'll have to ride Delirum and Tomb Raider. I didnt want to take my girlfriend on Tomb Raider because I wasnt sure what it was and didnt want to freak her out. She said she wouldnt ride Delirum as soon as she saw it. It is intimidating. Drop Zone was out of the question. I might not like being up that high either. Is Sky Flyer the thing where two people are in the ring bouncing up and down like a yo yo? I dont think I would do that either. Looks fun, but crazy.

The one you are thinking of there would be Slingshot. Skyflyer is located directly to the right of Drop Zone in the Action Zone. It's the pay per attraction with the huge arch, and raises the riders up to the top before they pull the rip cord and come screaming down.

You most likely would of heard the "3-2-1... Fly!" while you were near Top Gun.

When I was camping at the PKI campground earlier this year, I had to hear that 6-7 times an hour.
