If I were to buy a gold pass voucher from Krogers and go to Kings Island, would I have to pay for parking? Because if the voucher won't count for parking for whatever reason, then buying it online will be cheaper so that I don't have to pay to park that first day, even with the processing fee.

Your gold pass voucher from Kroger should scan for parking on your first visit.

If there's any problem, just keep your parking receipt and get a refund when you process your pass.
