King's Island on the 4th of July

Depends on the weather or more importantly the weather forecast.

Despite the potential for large crowds I find it a great way to spend the 4th when living in a city that does not allow consumer fireworks.

If rides are the main attraction for you a Fast Lane + pass is a consideration if crowds look to be large.

As with any fireworks display expect heavy traffic afterwards so pack some snacks and drinks and fill your gas tank.  :D

Last year, it was overcast skies and rain. Temps were high 60's & mid 70's. It was a great day to ride on coasters in the rain.  I don't think there was more than 10-15K people in the park, and a 10-15 minute wait for rides.  Rides went down due to weather for sometimes but it was still a fun time. So weather plays a huge factor in the attendance in the park. Check weather.com for mason zip code 45040 for weather details to help plan your day.
