RAFTER
Does Kings Island get busy on the 4th of July?
King Ding Dong
Depends on the weather or more importantly the weather forecast. Despite the potential for large crowds I find it a great way to spend the 4th when living in a city that does not allow consumer fireworks. If rides are the main attraction for you a Fast Lane + pass is a consideration if crowds look to be large. As with any fireworks display expect heavy traffic afterwards so pack some snacks and drinks and fill your gas tank. jdf21972
Last year, it was overcast skies and rain. Temps were high 60's & mid 70's. It was a great day to ride on coasters in the rain. I don't think there was more than 10-15K people in the park, and a 10-15 minute wait for rides. Rides went down due to weather for sometimes but it was still a fun time. So weather plays a huge factor in the attendance in the park. Check weather.com for mason zip code 45040 for weather details to help plan your day.
