We wanted to share an update with you. After exploring multiple options, we have decided that the Conquistador has officially sailed its last voyage. Thank you to all our guests and team members who have shared countless memories aboard this iconic ride. While it’s always hard to say goodbye, we’re excited about the epic opportunities ahead. Share your conquistador memories in the comments.

Is this a one-off closure with an immediate replacement in mind, or are there more closures coming throughout the rest of 2025?

Six Flags Over Texas will announce their newest addition on Thursday, September 25, 2025 during two special in-person events held in the newly restored Southern Palace Theater.
