O/k so I've been patient but nothing has come up. We went to Cedar Point on September 9th-11th and found out that TTD was closed! Nobody new what happened except that something had happened the weekend before. It's still closed! Anybody heard anything? I'm beginning to wonder if it's going to reopen.

I had seasson passes to CP the first year TTD was open. Well as I was watching the launch standing down by the cable house I wittnessed the cable snap. That was a very scary thing to wittness. Thank goodness I had already ridden TTD about 10 times before the big break down.

The huge rocket coasters are prone to problems or they just have lots of bugs to get worked out.

Still one hell of a ride

yeah and once they work out all the bugs then its gonna be fun!

It was posted on either ThePointOnline or PointBuzz that it would be closed indefinately until it can be fixed. They seemed to think it wouldn't reopen this year - at least last time I checked.

Does anyone know if Kingda Ka is open yet?
