Well, I made my trip to Wild Adventures in Valdosta Georgia! And I have to say that I was impressed. When leaving Valdosta Georgia take exit 13 and make a right off of I-75 to spend a day at Georgia's best kept secret!

The park has 9 roller coasters, and 3 of them are large steel. The others range in the kiddie coaster area, but they look good. Of these small coasters there is a ride called Bug Out. This is a mouse coaster kind of like fast cat ( wild cat ) at Cedar Point. Another coaster that they have is a ride called Swamp Thing. This ride is very similar to Rugrats Runaway Reptar at Kings Island, only the theming is more simple. Its a dark green family coaster, only at Wild Adventures, it is built over the water. And there are real life alligators in that body of water. And unlike Kings Island, the ride is ran through twice in a row every time to make up for the rides short length. Another great ride was Hangman. This ride is almost as twisted as Vortex, except for Hangman is suspended, and moves at 70 m.p.h.

The park was also very clean. And the theming in the park is outstanding and fun.

When you place these two categories in with the fact that the park probably had some of the nicest associates that I have ever seen in a park anywhere, it makes for a very good outcome. Oh yea, and the water park, SPLASH ISLAND! This water park has it all. A nice big wave pool, a lazy river, massive water slides, and inner tube slides, again friendly associates, and just simply provides a fun atmosphere.

Then there are the animal shows. The wild animal african/australian safari was spectacular, and even runs under one of their coasters "Cheetah" for an additional great view of the ride. The animals all had plenty of room to roam, and they were also not hard to see. And the driver would stop the tram so that you could take pictures, and she would educate everyone a little bit about what species they were looking at. And the animal shows were great. One host let me hold a Yellow Anaconda"!!!!! This was great, and on top of all of this, when you pay for one day's admission ticket, you get a second day free.

And something a little bit on the odd side, but still fun, was the virtual simulator ride. Which was SpongeBob SquarePants 3-D! Yep, its the same ride that has graced Kings Island's simulator for a few years now. Only at the end at Wild Adventures, when the fish blows up as a result of being allergic to pickles, you get sprayed with water, followed by a true display of bubbles. I don't remember ever actually being sprayed with water at Kings Island.

But anyways, it was a great trip, and me and my girlfriend had a lot of fun. I want to go back someday, and I recommend if anyone has an extra day to go to Wild Adventures, that you do so. The park is great, and once again the associates were all super friendly, and the parks atmosphere was great. They put a lot of work into designing the rides and themed areas here.

There is also a great ride called "Australian River Adventure" which is similar to White Water Canyon. And they have an amphitheatre for concert events.

Wild Adventures reminded me a lot of what Kings Island was like before Paramount bought it, which really made me really enjoy this place. Of course everything had it's own originality, which was great, including a walk through zoo.

Wild Adventures also features a Halloween show during weekends in October called "Phobia" and a Christmas celebration called "Hometown Christmas" during December.
