^ Where exactly are they putting the statue of Don? ^_^

It goes in the center of that turnaround down at the bottom of the pic :)

I'm really buying what you're selling here, Kenban. The zones divided by the railroad track makes a lot of sense.

I thought the statue was replacing the Eiffel Tower. Never mind about that...?

Up what?.......(I meant where? (Dang it......I meant HOW?))

  2. Drones are not permitted over any of KI property regardless of how populated, or what occupies the land.   The rules for this are set by both the FAA and KI.  Every thing you wanted to know about flying drones and the regulations involved can be found here.   A lot of it is very general and can be interpreted in many ways, so read carefully.

    https://www.faa.gov/uas/regulations_policies/

Also there are certain regulations regarding general aviation aircraft flying over a venue such as KI such as altitude and type of flying.(e.g. acrobatic is prohibited)  I can go on but I am very busy designing Crazy Horse, the mag lev giga log flume with lim launch.

  3. A little history of the DC-3A that was used for the jumpers.  It was first built for the military as a C-53 # 42-68710 and took part in D-Day operations with the 62nd Troop Carrier Squadron.  It is currently at the Fremont Airport in Fremont Ohio, undergoing restoration.  The restoration has been long and tedious with many issues holding them back, including the death of one of the major members of the team.  Any ways here are a couple of articles and pics of the aircraft.

It is very difficult to find info on one specific DC-3 because so many were built and most didn't come back to the states.  Most staid where they served or were shot down, and a lot of them that did come home ended up in Canada.  Also the fact that the DC-6 was in service by the end of the war did not help the fate of the DC-3.  Thanks Gordon for starting this topic, we live in an area of the US and the world that is so rich in history in so many ways, we must learn it and preserve it no matter how small it may seem.

  4. They actually removed some growth from that area and planted new for WAH to match the habitation of the animals.  The area did not start to open up to fields until you get to where the High School is, that was a shooting range, and there was farm land where the parking lot is and where the Hall of Fame used to be.  This is pre-1960, I don't know when the school was built, but the shooting range was active as late as 1955 I think.  (Dad used to go there)  I could be wrong on some of this so please feel free to correct me.

  5. There is only one option for this expansion, that is a fourth dimension coaster that flies over DA called the Pterodactyl and you can listen to the theme song while in line!
