I agree with criminaljustice 100%. I'm a major in Criminal Justice and Sociology and I have said on here before that this case will not go to court and was pretty much called an idiot. But most cases never see court, most are thrown out before they can reach court.

SOB_Tom I'm not saying that any lawyers would pass on it i'm a CJ and SOC major and I know that no lawyer in their right mind would try the case. I'm saying that more than it will never go to court. If KI is sure they would get the **** sued out of them they will settle out of court. It's very hard to sue these places and when you do you have to be able to afford a very good lawyer. If a lawyer knows how to work the system then they can get anything done. Plus remember I'm going to college for this so but out unless your going to be a lawyer too.

Personally I say get rid of the Italian Job, it sucks, put the King Cobra back up. Make another ride similar to The Bat but of course without the problems associated with it. Build another wooden coaster maybe one like the Cyclone one at Coney Island.

No one is going to sue KI for the SOB. They will probably try it but they would have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the coaster was neglected and because of KI's failure to keep up proper up keep on the coaster caused the injury of 27 people on Sunday. This would be extremely hard to do because KI does daily checks on the coaster and it was not that the coaster was neglected or the safety of the visitors was put in jeopardy by anyone at the KI company. It was a freak accident and KI had experienced personnel at the sense and made sure everyone was safe and that the injured were treated to the best of their knowledge. KI shut down the coaster to keep anyone else from getting hurt and I do not see how anyone can sue them. If you will look at the water ride Hydro in Europe a girl fell off the coaster because her restraints were faulty and her mother tried to sue and walked away with nothing and the U.S. and Europe have about the same justice systems.
