  1. I agree. PKI is in great need for a skyride. One of my favorite attractions that I also think is missing (now that PKI took it out) is a Skylab. Those things are awesome to ride. Plus, its a good attention grabber.

  2. On BAFFD, I think we had a hour wait for the wheelchairs at our exit to get on! Can someone please slap some sense into PKI marketing and make sure the park is overstaffed that day? I went to clean up some garbage (piled literally 4 ft. tall) when I came in, and got to it at about 10 that night.

  3. Ok Dane, I have one just like yours, but its not as funny...

SOB goes down for rain for about 1 1/2 hrs. Noone in the station and the line is cut off. Anyway, the rain goes down to barely raining, and my sup dares me to ride it once we get the clearance to go up. Well, we get the clearance, and I ride it in spitting rain. I get back with a bunch of welts. No wonder noone else was on the train!

  4. From what I get from the station theming is that there was a mining detail that went "tto far" and awoken The Beast. The theming is in the station (the big water tower) and also going around the first turn if you look to your right you will see a mine cart and what appears to be a mine shaft.

  5. As will I, but sometimes you have to move onto bigger and better things. Anyway, you should see some of them next year. Unless you did what I did and my girlfriend is still on SOB/Gun so I wont be getting sent over there!

  6. The only reason I buy on ride pics is if they are friends/family that I see once in a blue moon. Other than that, Im up at the park so much that I dont bother with them.

  7. Going on two years of service.

Flyer, I will agree with ya, switching from coaster to flat is nice, especially if you went to TRTR last year (at least thats how I thought). After working two coasters awhile, it gets kinda boring, but then you look at who is riding the coasters, talk, have a good laugh, and its fun again.

  8. The real record was over at Top Gun. I was driving, Ben Ward and Ben Bayes were on the floor switching every so often. The record (with both trains)...39. Missed 40 by about a half a second.

Edit: average with both trains is 25-30

  9. Alright, just think for a moment. You just got strapped into a seat, and you have never heard about this ride before. You flip up and hang pointed towards the ceiling. It takes a moment for your brain to orient itself enough to be able to tell what is above you. Same with the lava pit. Its not about realising where you are per se, its just a break to keep your brain from overloading.

  10. For some people who ride TR it might take them a minute to orient themselves before they realise that they are hanging blow ice or over lava. Just because you might get it in a second doesnt mean that everyone who rides that ride gets it immediately. You have to give everyone in the GP the same look at it, no matte how long it takes them to get it.
