adventure2007
Well hey hey everyone , hows it going. I hope everyone had as much fun at the park as I did this weekend. It was a blast getting back and feeling the rush I missed from the coasters. I was wondering though if anyone else has noticed the errosion of the Top Gun coaster over the years. I rode it a few times over the weekend and it is still a fun ride, but it is really starting to look pretty wore out. The paint is almost gone and there are alot of areas that almost look rusted. Even the cars are looking beaten and worn. O well maybe im just complaining. Any comments ?
corn4ahead
It actually has gotten pretty bad. A new paint job and it will be fine.

JxAx
I've noticed quite a bit of wear on the ride. A new paint job would be good.
The Interpreter
Top Gun is NOT falling apart. It is in very good condition. Aesthetics and ride maintenance need not necessarily be the same, and they aren't. A ride can look wonderful and be completely unsafe. At Cedar Fair, safety is the top priority. Prettiness is a distant second.
2K Force
I'd say that Racer needs a new paint job more than Top Gun does. I did notice that the paint on Top Gun is fading away, but this coaster isn't visible until you start walking back to it. I think it is more important to paint things that are more visible first.
