  1. Isn't that where they also do the cheerleading stuff
  2. I remember seeing on the website that Flight of Fear could move 2000 in an hour with 4 trains. I thought it only had 2 trains now and I don't think it could move people that fast. I think it said Vortex could handle 1600, but I guess I could believe that since the line is always moving.
  3. On a Travel Channel show about Schlitterbahn, they said that one entire side of the park was drawn from the river.
  4. I really liked that big slide that you would climb to the top and ride down on a sack. I thought it used to be so big and it scared me to death when I was little.
  5. It had a floor like Top Gun.
  6. What is your favorite classic flat ride at the park? Mine is either the Bumper Cars or Monster. (the new flat rides like Dropzone, Delirium, and Tomb Raider don't count)
  7. I vote for FoF. It has a great theme, a powerful launch, and an intense layout all in the dark. Vortex comes in a close second though, and probably has the best capacity in the park.
  8. 10. Face/Off 9. White Water Canyon 8. Tomb Raider 7. Racers 6. Drop Zone 5. Son of Beast 4. Vortex 3. Delirium 2. Flight of Fear 1. The Beast Fav. areas: 7: Octoberfest 6: Hanna Barbera/Nickelodeon 5: International Street 4: Waterworks/ Boomerang Bay 3: Action Zone 2: Rivertown 1: Coney Mall
  9. Of all the rides I have been on in AZ (which is all except the extra charge rides), I am going to have to vote for Delirium. Also, could someone tell me if Xtreme Skyflyer is worth the $10?
  10. Yes. I am going to have to go with Intamin over B&M, because of their giga and strata coasters.
  11. I have never been to a winterfest because I was only about 5 when they did and my parents didn't know at the time they were raising a coaster freak, so I have a few questions. 1. Are there any rides open? 2. If there arent' any rides open, what is there to keep you entertained?
  12. I think it will be all the Spongebob characters. (Spongebob, Patrick, Squidward (I think thats his name), and the guy that owns the Krusty Krab.

    2005 Poll

    I vote for floorless.
  14. Probably something in Action Zone. I bet it will either be Drop Zone or Delirium.
  15. Best Moment: The first time I went to Fearfest was this year and I rode The Beast in the dark. Worst Moment: Also 2003 when I came on an August Saturday and it was like 100 degrees and every line was insanely long.
  16. Roller Coasters: Best Steel: Millennium Force, Wicked Twister Best Wood: Beast Worst Steel: Corkscrew at CP Worst Wood: Twisted Twins Coaster that's not all that bad: T2, Meanstreak Coaster that is that bad: Corkscrew Most Improved: Chang Best Flat: Delirium, Drop Zone Worst Flat: Tomb Raider, Chaos Most Ridden: I guess Delirium, Vortex and Beast, and Tennesse Tornado @ Dollywood but I haven't been counting. Least Ridden: WT, Raptor, Mantis, Iron Dragon, Corkscrew, and the other rides up at CP cuz I was only there for 2 days. Best Experience: My first time on Millennium Force Worst Experience: My ride on Corkscrew Most Scary Experience: My first ride ever on Drop Zone early this year, going up the huge hill on Millennium Force.
  17. Chance and KMG make flat rides like Huss.
  18. If a coaster ever valleyed for any reason, which was already past the block brakes, and another train had already been dispatched, would the computer automatically stop the ride or would the driver have to hit an emergency stop button?
  19. I'm not trying to start a rumor or anything, and I haven't heard this anywhere, but The Vortex is getting old and rough. Do you think it will live to see its 20th anniversary in 2007 or do you think it will be torn down soon to make room for a new attraction?
  20. If the magnetic braking system can fail on the Superman coasters in Maryland and Massachusetts, does this mean that gyrodrop brakes can also fail. I heard they were failsafe, but I'm just curious.
  21. Are the lines for the rides or the haunted houses usually longer?
  22. Are you talking about the lines for rides or haunted houses being long, or both? Will every ride be running like a regular day of just some of them?
  23. I think it would be cool to have a giga floorless.
