I like the change but I think KI does need a well run sit down restaurant. The Reds Hall of Fame grill was never run well.

Our family isn't rich by any means and Disney deals with these issues the same way. I just really dislike the fact that alot of guest are just rude and dont care about the park.

The problem is that we can only really go on the more crowded days. We visited July 4th as well and had more of the same unruly guest. There was a guest really F this F that FU around in the kiddie area. I turned to him and told him to watch his mouth as my 4 year old doesn't need to hear that language. He told me I dont give a F.

We got to the park around 5:30 and headed straight towards Banshee for my wife's sister first ride ever. We only had a station wait. Our next venture was to pick up our 4 year old who was at the park eariler from the water park and we rode few of the kiddie rides that he likes to ride. Now the interesting part. We rode Banshee again and someone took off their seat belt while going up the lift. The ride estopped and worker told them to put the seat belt back on. It took about 10 minutes to get the ride restarted. Once we got off they had security waiting for them. Not that security did anything other than talk to them. We let our son play a few carnival games and I would say he got pretty lucky. On a last note the park has gotten really trashy with the type of guest. Adults were line jumping our 4 year old waiting a water slide, people littering everywhere, smoking outside of the smoking areas, and not following the general park rules. Some of the midways were really hard to get through and they really need think about widening some of them. I don't want to sound snobey but I think a price increase in tickets is really needed to cut down on some of the crowds and the type of people in the park.

No, I am not a fan of this at all. I go to the parks to get away from this kind of stuff.

My wife and I are talking about making a Carowinds trip in the fall. Just wondering everyone's thoughts if its worth it or not. BEing that Kings Island is huge now I have a hard time going to parks that are not Disney out side of Kings Island. We were thinking about getting the All Inclusive Ticket for $135 which includes a Fast Lane Plus, parking, all day food, drinks, and the FunPix

Buy online. Buying a ticket at the gate who knows how long the line will be and my guess is since your buying a ticket you dont come to park often so your time at the park is precious.

Pretty sure its supposed to rain this weekend. If it does we will be heading to the park on Saturday.

I would maybe think of a different location in the park. What about around main entrance sign area. You would be able to pull a park photographer over and get your picture and you would have your own little private space as people generally move out of the way. She would never expect it!

Shouldn't they already have the pot boiling with water as soon as the last batch is done?

Why does it take that long to cook spaghetti? It takes me like 5 minute at home.

I honestly think the lines/overall flow in the parking lot is horrible. I actually like to park in the back Northside of the parking lot to help aide my escape at closing time.

I love The Vortex and I think new trains would could give the ride a nice upgrade even though there is just something about the nogastic factor I love about the old trains. Upgrades down the road I would love to see something new that has powerful launch. Maybe something like an blitz coaster. Something that has lots of turns and airtime with an inversion or two.

Could always put it where the Reds Hall of Fame grill is! I would really like to see the overall quality of food to improve. While I can always find food there I can eat/tolerate I would love to find something I just have to have when I go. The shrimp at the Smokehouse was pretty close.

Pretty neat and cool ride but lines would be long with no MCBR.

Hopefully this Winterfest is better than the attempted revamp back from 2005.

I was there yesterday and we had a great time. Short waits in the main park. We ventured into the the water park for about an hour but and we found the crowds there. The park seems to be way more crowded this year but they seem to be handling very well. We actually have discussed about skipping out on passes next year and taking our $700 we save and spending it on a Disney trip.

I think the back area of Coney Mall needs sprucing up. Maybe add a shop or two or a nice place to eat and a flat or ride or two. That area of the park kind of seems forgotten.

We just got back from Disney World in May and most of the lines were less than 10-15 minutes. We only waited for Space Mountain. We also didnt even eat in the park we were having so much fun! We didn't even think about food until we were walking on our way to the car. Such an amazing time. We are planning going back once Star Wars area opens.

I don't think the personally the park cares about adding something big just because its the parks 50th anniversary. They will add what is right for them that makes the most sense business wise. The park is about making money.

Power Aid, HI-C and Gold Peak Tea are not good options for be as most to those options have as much sugar if not more than pop.

Really loving this topic. Durning the rush of the day sometimes we forget to pause and take a look or listen to those special little things.
