Went yesterday... employees playing it smooth but dont really know what they are talking about. We went on Eiffel Tower. Guy at top says if you have ANY questions, just ask. So I ask, what coaster are they building over there? 2 employees at same time said a Giga Wave Pool. So I say, oh, bigger than Cococay? They were lost... There is chatter in the waiting lines about Giga this, Giga that but also not everyone even knows there is a coaster missing either.

Kennywood adds Steelers coaster!

NO i wouldnt want them too either. But it's rather suspicious for Kennywood to be getting such a substantial coaster.. and the park being bid on in the same year.. Sounds like it's a ploy to get out before they lose more money. -
I'd personally would like to see the 400ft+ element in the middle or at best, at the end of the ride, Let the coaster do it's elements then towards the end while it's already got some speed on it.. shoot it through a launch. Only thing i see people complaining about is if the climb is anywhere other than the beginning, rollback on that design would be impractical to fix if it rollbacks into the "coaster" section of the track that's uncontrollable. OR.... engineering could get tricky and do this- If put at the end of the ride, put a break run right in the station. The coaster runs through the station towards the end on one side, then hits the launch. If it makes it, you end up at the other side of the station. IF it doesnt make it, the break run at the other side of the station will stop it and unload. If this were the only option.. Lines would be LONG as only 1 train could go at a time,

I'll rephrase. Once completed, from the Eiffel Tower, i can only imagine the extreme elevation and soaring view of the new coaster by a couple inches possibly, From a distance, everything will look smaller than it actually is. Still cant wait for the view though.

Kennywood adds Steelers coaster!

This isn't KI related but Steel Curtain at Kennywood related... Since SC is going to offer the world's tallest inversion ever at 197ft which is an awesome feat to have along with 9 inversions total.. curious if CF is going to want to challenge those records in the next 1-7yrs from now? Kennywood already up for sale, lol.. So it's perfect opportunity to overtake some records (business wise). I'm going there in August and hopefully not fall off.. Seems like the second this thing is done being built, they are opening it.. it's not even 70% complete yet but we opening it in 2 months regardless! lol.. OK... i'll be there dead or alive afterwards.. -
If i'm not mistaken, isnt the standing point of ET only 275ft? "...tower stands 315 feet (96 m) tall with the observation floor 264 feet (80 m) high" "The 301-foot-tall (92 m) center tower..." I can't find any information of what the actual ride height is for WindSeeker but both are definitely under 300ft.
-
After seeing those pics above from the Eiffel Tower, I can't wait to see the coaster fully built literally towering over WindSeeker.. and the First coaster you will have to look UP to from the Eiffel Tower. (although from distance, we wouldnt actually be looking up, but still, get my drift,

I'm going this Saturday.

Great... so after KI gets this new ride, we'll have to wait almost 19,000 more years before something better is built... uhh... where the footers for that Beast at?
-
I'm gonna go ahead and say it... you want some wacky new element to our questionable layout coaster... here you go- This coaster will have the worlds first Zero G Stall Hyper Loop. Boom. Game over.
-
I was unaware previous to Banshee being announced there were full false rumors going on like that. Well, only way to get the truth is to stick to hard facts then like we have been doing instead of any hearsay. Keep watching construction progress and check in at b&m to see the track. I cant wait til the track first gets moved to ki. Things will start to get interesting then.
-
Um... I can confirm laid out like that, no launch, lol. That looks like the chain lift hill would go into a different chain lift Hill to complete the extreme angle towards the top.
-
And... kid you not, I rode the coaster on the Daytona boardwalk 1 month before it derailed and fell off the track hurting those people last year.. the maintenance was so obsolete, they had to physically push us to the chain lift... It was at this point, pulling out my phone and calling a lawyer wasnt a bad thought before I go down the first drop.

Is it possible Kings Island will be getting the best Giga ever? Ancient Astronaut theorists say YES and have been decoding the plans...For 1000s of years.
-
Or.. because its space themed.. they leave it gray to attract the "greys." I have the perfect guy to announce this coaster-
-
That layout is not focused on the track though. Therefore it can change lightly but the base of the layout is finite.
-
I dont know how this is still debatable.. that John guy from Ohio news made a 2nd report about it and published the blueprints right their on TV, lol. Same unaltered layout posted here. It was shown and commented on by coaster media 2-3 days ago. It is real period. This isnt the blueprint for the coaster but apparently for the station at most. When the prints that focus on the track come out, then we can have the layout debate realistically.

^^ I love rides like that. The one in Canada Wonderland that's like The Bat at KI, I think they call it Vortex? It's got you above a mountain going real slow then.... no more mountain coming....lol

What keeps me up at night is the fact that all the coaster stuff that makes up this ride exploded and spread through the park. That rollercoaster stuff resides in us. We are made of the same 5 common ingredients- 1- Thrills 2- Air time 3- Intensity 4- Inversions 5- Other

Back to the space theming- Neil Tyson will be the one to unveil this ride at its announcement by giving us an epic 2hr lecture of its record breaking physics, lol
-
Anyone know when average time of year official announcements are made? I remember few months ago someone saying if this is contributed to The Beasts timeline, we should expect announcement on 6-6-19 but if not... any particular month?
-
It better be a 299ft maverick... Or.. its 290ft tall but goes WAY underground for the ultimate tunnel... although as someone has pointed out earlier, a tunnel may increase wind turbulence therefore decreasing travel speed on the initial drop.
-
Me being a lover of aggressiveness like Maverick, I can only hope records aside this ride breaks my neck.
-
Lol... upon announcement day... the world is expecting- 700 ft tall coaster, 19 inversions, worlds tallest winged dive coaster with 7 launches... then they describe it with Invertigo specs... season passes drop 40%.
