even on the busiest day, you can do everything, and the seatbelts on the coasters are large enough for everyone... rarely are there "turnaways" Unlike Cedar Point, where many guests who FIT the test seats STILL end up being turned away from Millennium Force and/or Top Thrill Dragster....

The better question, which someone might want to be thinking about...is will PKD (or PKI, for that matter) be needing those trains after this season. . .and if not, who will?

Skyflyer. By a factor of about 1000. For me, at least. I find the Slingshot to be a bore. But that's just me.

Of course security works on a weekday when the park is not open to the public. The park must be kept secure 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Even on Christmas Day. That's reality. Sadly, wrongdoers don't only work when the park is open.

LIM's are linear induction motors...and not only do they need power, they need lots and lots of it. You may be thinking about magnetic brakes, which do not need power!

Happy 45th to Six Flags Over Texas, that is. It seems quite odd to hear Happy 45th at Kentucky Kingdom in particular!

And the shows! The R and B show at SFOG was unbelievably good. Extremely high quality, actors and actresses actually singing (NOT lip synching) and dancing with high energy. And this early in the season, a FULL show schedule. The changes at the new Six Flags simply must be seen to be believed.

Of the rides at PKI these days: Flight of Fear. Why? It's an amazing and wonderful ride...from the theming (which Paramount could do a better job of keeping up) to the launch to the marvelous hang time! I also miss Phantom Theater, King Cobra, The Flying Eagles, and...of all things, Scooby's Ghoster Coaster. Laugh all you want. And way back there, Enchanted Voyage. And even The Rotor! Then again, what do you expect? I still miss The Shooting Star at Coney Island in Cinci!

True enough, but also remember that in years past, as Paramount set prices, it intended to continue to own the parks...

And know, too, that it is widely suspected that Six Flags has a plan to GREATLY increase season pass prices as the year goes on. They have already raised prices several times. I am well aware that Six Flags pricing is a only a very small component when Kings Island/Paramount set pricing, but it is a factor. Just something to think about.

And believe it or not, particularly in Kentucky, they are now teaching kids to use C.E. instead...which refers to the Common Era. What is common about it, I have NO idea! B.C. becomes B.C.E.=before the Common Era.
