I think that the 12 o'clock closings are based on bring-a-friend-free days, and I'm not sure, but I don't think that every park has the same goldpass perks. If they don't have bring-a-friend-free days, there may be no reason to stay open so late.
I found this article:

I also found this quote:
So, what are these ugly bugs' favorite places?
"A nice tree in full sunlight surrounded by nice vegetation. What does that describe? It describes our front yards or our backyards or parks. So it turns out periodic cicadas are becoming more numerous in many cities," said Kritsky.
I wonder if this means that places like Action Zone won't have to worry as much.
My older brother got me on The Beast by telling me that it was like Adventure Express (because they both looked wooden, I guess). He also told me that The Beast's track was on the ground half of the time, which is sorta true. Since I couldn't see Beast's track from anywhere, I believed him.
That reminds me of an episode at Disneyland I had with 'Flash' Mountain. Those pictures are all over the net, but of course they're not appropriate to be posted here.
Jeez, and it was my impression that there are a lot of minors that work at Kings Island-you would have to send practically half of the crew on break at the same time or something. I guess I'll find out how this stuff goes when I start working.
Forgive my ignorance here, but if minors have to have breaks every 5 hours, doesn't that get really complicated? I know I'm stating the obvious when I point out that they would have to have very strategically placed breaks, but is there an effort made so that minors don't get all those hours at the same time?
