I have only seen passes being used there. I think its still only for passholders. As for walking back to that lot. I have never done it before nor have I paid much attention to how far away it is...Is it that far away?

Is that entrance open until 7 when BB closes? I will be going tonight and plan to park there. I know I will have to walk all the way back to my car from the main gate but I'll deal with that. Thanks!

Thanks, I called and they can be purchased at the gate as well. On the website, it says "Check out the special online Starlight ticket and enjoy the park after 5PM for just $24.95 per person!

Is this only available online? Just asking because they are advertising it on the sign in front of the park but on the website, it looks like its an online offer. I have a pass, but a friend of mine is planning to go on Thursday and he doesn't have a pass. Thanks!

Most of the times I have gone this year, it has been about 6 or later and the South entrance was the only one open. There was a line to park and they were charging for parking. Why don't you just purchase a parking pass? You can still do it on the website, I believe.

My son rode it with his dad in Orlando last March. He was 6 at the time. The one on International Dr. is the highest. And I was at KI today and the Slingshot there was $15, not $5.

We went in through the Season pass gate from the parking lot. We never went into the park itself. I can see them maybe not asking for our passes if it was busy but we were the only people in line. I figured maybe it was a one time thing.

When I was there on Wednesday, we went in at Boomerang Bay. I realized a few minutes later that they never asked for my passes. We walked through security and that was it. Is this normal? Did they just forget a step or what? Where do they normally check passes at? Couldn't someone get in and just get into the park without paying?

Nope, it reminded me of a guy I went to school with that constantly nodded his head up and down slowly like he was saying yes. But its is really slow. I only looked at the wave pool because we were getting ready to leave. I wasn't imagining it I know and it wasn't like they were scanning. Oh well, just thought maybe someone knew. I notice those types of things..lol

But has anyone else noticed the lifeguards all nodding their heads at Boomerang Bay? We were sitting at the wave pool today and I noticed one doing it, just thought it was him until another took his place and started doing it. I looked around and all of them were doing it ALL the time! Maybe its just me but I thought it was kinda weird.. And it was alot busier today than I thought it would be. Our schools are still in around here (Dayton), so I thought maybe it wouldn't be packed. It was a hot one though!

Sucks that we don't have a family of 4 so we can't get the discount. Its just me and my son and don't need that much food.

I am planning on taking my 7 year old son on opening day *hoping for good weather* I was hoping that processing would open earlier so we wouldn't have to do it that day but I guess thats not gonna happen. Can anyone tell me when I should arrive and how long do you normally have to wait? This is the 1st year that I have had a pass in years! Any information would help tremendously.

My favorite area is International St. and sitting by the fountains. Makes a good picture with them in the background!

I did see Vortex finally start running. Beast and Vortex were down when I went by. Also, Face/Off was running when I left about 3:30, it may have been empty, I wasn't looking that hard.

My son and I rode Lazytown Sportacopters today and the recording you hear at the end say "We are cleared for landing at Hanna-Barbera Airport. Thank you for flying (whatever the ride was called last year)

I was wondering too. There were several rides not running today. SoB, Beast, Vortex was down for awhile, Delirium. I was also upset that HBL wasn't playing at the FX Theatre. We made an extra trip back there when we were getting ready to leave and Spongebob was playing only. This will be my only trip there this year and I was disappointed.

I didn't notice any today.

What I am trying to say is that for the last week or so, the tickets for this weekend that included the character breakfast were $34.99. I went on yesterday to order my tickets for tomorrow and they went up to $44.99. I didn't have enough days to order the 3 day ticket.

I paid $37.99 for me and $29.99 for my son. I really hope that parking didn't go up to $12.50 like Dayton Daily News says.

They also need to mention that the $34.99 ticket price needs to be purchased 3 days in advance and printed off as an e-ticket. I thought parking price was $10 too.

I went to order my tickets for Sunday and the character breakfast ticket went up to $44.99 each! They were $34.99 all week. I guess we will just get regular tickets. It comes out $2 cheaper that way, but my son probably would've liked the character breakfast. Oh well!!

Because it's a secret and a surprise for him and he can't read all these big words.

He is only 6 and I doubt he knows the way. He may catch on when coming up on 71 by the Beach though. I am doing very well, keeping the secret. I typed a letter with directions to the surprise that will be in his basket on Sunday morning. I can't wait!!

I have decided to take my son on Easter Sunday. I really hope the park is nice and quiet and the weather is nice and warm. I am going to try not to tell him at all and just wait and see his face when we get there. I am really bad at that, but I am gonna try really hard.
